Though Apple has confirmed the launch of the next iPhone possibly called iPhone 5 in the month of October 2012, with the conformity of the launch there is one bit of bad news for the accessories manufacturer. Apple will introduce a altered version of connector in the next iphone which is different than the one in present iPhones; this which will render most of the accessories like speakers, docks and other expensive auxillary instruments costing hundreds of dollars useless. Seems like bad news for the current owners as well.

But a positive side for manufacturers that it will give both Apple and accessory makers a huge new market.

Till now Apple has not confirmed the news of the altered version of connector but the same was slammed by many apple bloggers and users across the web.
