Here you are with latest iPad and it's called The new iPad, it was announced yesterday in much awaited event. And I am sure most of Apple lovers would already sold out their new iPad 2 to buy "The new iPad". Isn't it confusing, Apple has done it again with people having high expectation from this launch event, as there a few rumors about the name of new iPad being iPad 3, iPad HD, iPad 2S. But Apple's CEO Tim Cook said in his keynote it is simply "The new iPad". So, after a year or so you will still call it NEW???

And now let's into the spec and see what all new features which makes it out of the crowd again.

First and foremost is the Retina Display and they are calling it stunning. Yeah they got it in iPad after introducing it in iPhone 4 in 2010. It's having amazing resolution of 2048 by 1536 pixels, four times more pixels than iPad to give razor sharp text and rich colors. It's having even more pixels than HDTV.

And all that is powered by A5X chip with quad-core graphics. That's powerhouse supporting that beautiful display/resolution and many other features and mind-blowing apps. And you know what, it doesn't hamper its battery usage. They still claim it have  up to 10 hours of power to read, watch, play, write, and create whatever you want, all you want.

Next big thing is the iSight camera with 5-megapixels resolution which is also capable of recording full HD video of 1080p.  It also features a backside illumination sensor that captures great-looking pictures whether by sunlight or candlelight. The iSight camera is designed with advanced optics having 5-element lens to produce amazing pictures.

And yes, the new iPad connects data networks ultra-fast with 4G LTE the latest in wireless technology. Now, you can watch videos, download apps, etc at amazingly fast speed, of course it depends on providers supporting this technology.

And it comes with all other features including iCloud, Dictation, App Store with around 200, 000 apps and games designed for iPad. And it obviously supports AirPlay to play movies directly on HDTV using Apple TV and you can do it all wirelessly.

Despite of all new features mentioned above and few Apple lovers will still think their good friend Siri is missing here. And it was really much expected here in new iPad. But let's see how it goes.

And I think Apple also agrees there is no much change in it design-wise that's why they resist calling it iPad 3, nobody know there is something big in near future. But I am sure people must be waiting in long ques on its launch date (16^th March) and might have already pre-ordered it.

Now let's have look at pricing, the Wi-Fi only iPad will cost $499 for 16GB and 32GB and 64GB will have price tag of $599 and $699 respectively. And Wi-FI + 4G version will cost $130 more for each variant. And it will be available 16^th March in following countries
