Team Ninja at the Tokyo Game Show revealed that their latest project Yaiba, is but another name for Ninja Gaiden Z, and have sent forth a trailer focusing on the game's concept. The zombie-oriented hack and slash game is a spin-off revolving around a new character called Yaiba, who is back from the dead to track down and eliminate Ryu Hayabusa (protagonist of the Ninja Gaiden series), since the latter is supposedly responsible for his untimely demise. Unconfirmed reports indicate that Ninja Gaiden Z is being developed for the Xbox360, PS3 and possibly Wii U.
