During Comic Con, Capcom and Sony Pictures has announced a new Resident Evil 3D animated- horror film, entitled  Resident Evil: Damnation that serves as a sequel to Resident Evil: Degeneration, directed by Makoto Kamiya and produced by Hiroyuki Kobayash. The plot of the movie takes place in the eastern European warzone where bio-organic weapons are used. Resident Evil: Damnation will feature Leon S. Kennedy as a protagonist and  Ada Wong  is  back as well. First the movie will be released on a DVD and is expected to arrive in the west on 25 September, following the cinema release  in Japan on 27 October.
