Remember the Unreal Engine 3-based third-person shooter Mercenary Ops being developed by Yingpei Games (formerly Epic Games China)? Thanks to G4tv we now have a five-minute long video showcasing a portion of multiplayer gameplay, in which there are some executions, cover-based shooting, and a whole lot of tumbling. Gameplay mechanics seem to be inspired a bit by Gears of War, but I gotta say, the clip doesn't inspire much confidence so far. The game is supposed to focus on tactical gameplay combining aspects of character development and customization, but there's nothing in this particular video that we haven't seen in other shooters in the genre.
