This one is a bit late, but better late than never, eh. So here
we have a 17-minute gameplay video of EA's third-person
action-horror titleDead Space 3, which arrives in
February 2013 for the PC, XBox360 and PS3. The trailer, which
features commentary by the game's creative director and senior
audio artist, shows a fair bit of footage of beleaguered
protagonist Isaac Clarke traversing the damaged spaceship "Eudora"
as he attempts to evacuate the vessel along with its captain. First
off, he needs to get to his spacesuit before the ship comes apart,
following which he is flung out of the vessel, and has to jetpack
his way through the flotilla to get back. Then we see Isaac
separated from the rest of the crew on the derelict ship wherein he
encounters several familiar horrors - the necromorphs and a new
form of the horrifying lurker - as he heads to the generator
room.
The demo ends unfortunately for Isaac, as he meets with a grisly
demise at the hands of a dual-axe wielding necromorph.
However, you can always view more gameplay
trailers here, here
and here.
