And here are two new wallpapers from Bethesda and Arkane
Studio's Dishonored. The stealth-action title
is looking really good, and appears to be shaping up quite nicely
from what we saw at E3. Some new bits of info have
emerged since then, which have raised our already-elevated
expectations from the game. The first interesting news is that the
ingame enemy AI have varied levels of alertness, i.e. if the player
is detected the opponents will initially be at a high alert level
and gradually regress, but never to the initial state of unaware.
This basically means that once the enemy is aware of your presence,
they will not back down to an "I guess that was just my mind
playing tricks" status, but will remain alert. The other bit of
good news is that the game features multiple endings based upon
your play style (stealthy or combat-oriented), and that you can't
procure all abilities and updates in one playthrough, whihch should
satisfy those looking at replayability.
