Paper Sorcerer is a first-person dungeon crawler/ turn-based roleplaying game with a difference; it boasts a unique visual style since it features all hand-drawn high-resolution sprites. Inspired by Wizardry, Dungeons and Dragons, and Shadowgate, the game puts you in the shoes (robes) of a renegade sorcerer who attempts to escape the magical book prison and recover his powers, all while evading/fighting a bunch of heroes with a charge-based spell system and a party of summons as your allies. The DRM-free title has been confirmed for the PC, Mac and iOS devices, though the developers have stated that XBLA and web-browser versions may also happen. Check out the gameplay video below:
