Square Enix has confirmed that Final Fantasy VII for PC is getting a re-release. This version of the game will feature new achievements, a "Character Booster" and cloud saving. No news definitive date when the game will arrive in stores. But the game will be available exclusively on the SQUARE ENIX store.

According to the website "With the Character Booster you can increase your HP, MP and Gil levels to their maximum, all with the simple click of a button, leaving you to enjoy your adventure"

The game will also feature cloud saving- which means wherever you are, using a different computer to play the game with cloud save support technology in Final Fantasy VII you can continue your game progress right where you left off, all you need is an internet connection.

Minimum specs for the new version are as follows:

•    Microsoft Windows XP/Vista/7 (32/64-bit)
•    2GHz Processor or faster
•    1GB RAM
•    DirectX 9-compatible graphic card
