Bioware have released a few juicy bits of info along with three
pieces of concept art for their highly-anticipated action
roleplaying game Dragon Age 3: Inquisition,
which is expected to grace our PC/consoles later in 2013. According
to some bits of info tweeted by the producer of the title Cameron
Lee, there will be a fair bit of customisation available for
players as well as their followers/companions as compared to the
previous titles in the franchise; furthermore he promises that
"just one level in #DA3 is as big as all of DA2's levels",
that we will get to see what happened to some of the followers in
Dragon Age 2, and that fans can expect a
"little" Flemeth in
their game.
He also hinted that players may be able to take
control of a castle (concept art below), that
the primary character will be
human though you can choose your background
(which will impact the story) and
that choices from
previous games would be imported via savegames. All of this sounds
good to me, and after the disappointment of Dragon Age 2, I am keen
to see how Bioware intends to right all the wrongs with the third
entry in the franchise.
