Bethesda has sent forth another set of images from Arkane Studio's first-person action game Dishonored, making us drool in anticipation of this title. One of the images below shows off a bunch of dudes in the steampunk-inspired industrial English city of Dunwall, dressed in attire and wielding swords that makes us think that they are assassins like the main protagonist Corvo too, though they could just be another set of opponents. Another screenshot which stands out is the vibrant setting of the masquerade ball (though with people wearing some creepy-looking masks), which we assume you have infiltrated to assassinate a target.

This fascinating mashup of technology and magic will arrive on 9 October in the US, 11 October in Australia and 12 October in Europe. Looking for some gameplay to occupy yourself in the interim?
