Darkvision

Developers of Bethesda's upcoming stealth-action title Dishonored have chosen to reveal a few more bits of info about the game. First off, the save system features both checkpoints AND manual saving options (except during combat). Secondly, there will be four difficulty levels involving varied factors such as "enemy perception, damage and responsiveness, as well as health and mana potion potency. Easy also causes part of your health to regenerate over time (insert obligatory mocking/scornful/superior laugh here)." And finally, stealth revolves around enemy perception, i.e., as long as the player remains hidden/unseen. So my guess is that lean option and Darkvision ability is going to be pretty handy for those of us who chose the sneaky perfectionist assassin way. Watch these two videos here to get an idead of the varied gameplay styles one can choose from.
