Activision has revealed that Terminal Reality is working on a
new The Walking Dead videogame, one separate to
the episodic survival adventure series by
TellTale Games. The upcoming title will be a first-person action
game, and will be released for the PC, Xbox 360 and PS3 in 2013.
According to IGN, the story will focus on Daryl Dixon and
his brother Merle to the rumoured safe zone of Atlanta. You can
choose between stealth and action-oriented playstyles, but remember
that supplies (including ammo) will be scarce in the
post-apocalyptic scenario, so avoiding detection might just be your
best bet for survival. Furthermore, "Daryl will encounter a slew of
other characters along the way that can help or hurt him. Whether
or not these characters accompany him is completely up to the
player and represents just some of the major decisions that will
constantly be made while fighting to survive." Daryl has been
growing from a douche loner to a kickass survivor on the show, so
it will be interesting to se how this plays out; now watch
the trailer below:
