Media reports indicate that Michael Fassbender, who recently
starred as Magneto in X-Men: First Class, will star in the upcoming
Assassin's Creed movie based on Ubisoft's
eponymous IP. It also looks like he will be
co-producing the videogame adaptation, which will revolve around a
"man who learns his ancestors were trained assassins after he is
kidnapped by a secret org with ties to the Knights Templar, and
sent back in time to retrieve historical artifacts." Fassbender has
proved his mettle in a variety of roles, including that of a
Spartan warrior in Zack Snyder's 300, Lt Hicox in Qunetin
Tarantino's Inglourious Basterds and most recently as David - a
creepy Android with a hidden agenda in Ridley Scott's
Prometheus. So how about it
